This antenna in made of multiple COTS elements with sidelobe suppression.
It’s a seven elements array independently controlled (phase and amplitude) by a digital beamforming network.
With an array configuration, by modifying the attenuator/phase-shifter network signal coming from the desired direction can be maximised and, at the same time, put one or more null in the direction where interfering signal comes from.
In other words the desired radiation pattern can be achieved.
