The supply of a Sicilsat satellite station operating in the S band for tracking of satellites in LEO orbit has been successfully completed.
The station with 4.5mt mesh dish, will be used by the University of Rome astronautical engineering department, to receive images transmitted by a cubesat of their own design.
The station can have a speed of movement, through brushless motors, in both axes of 3.0 degrees per second. Movement in azimuth of 720 deg and elevation of 100 degrees.
